The Lyceum Day

Every Russian knows the Imperial Lyceum in Tsarskoye Selo. It is mostly known as the Lyceum that Pushkin finished, and yet, many prominent people, who brought glory to our country, also were its graduates. Among them were poets Delvig and Kuehelbecker, navigator Matyushkin, Chancellor Gorchyakov, Decembrist Pushchin, director of the Imperial Library Korf, and many others. There were people, who were the lords of our imaginations and who actually represent Russian Spirit themselves. The Lyceum was founded 203 years ago and it educated those, who formed the guiding lights of all Russian People.
