Celebrating Unity

Today the Cultural and Sporting Centre Nevsky at the residential complex Prince Alexander Nevsky held a celebration of the National Unity Day. The concert was created by both enthusiasts and the guests of the celebration.

Program included both entertaining activities and the fruits of our sectors’ work. The celebration was actually made of their accomplishments such as: a theatrical scene performed by kids, learning English language from Marina Zvyagina at Nevsky, the presentation of the first robot, created by the students of the Robotics sector led by German Ganus, the performance of martial arts sector, headed by Alexander Barakov, poem recitals of the literary studio led by Olga Turkina,(poems were recited by poet and archeologist Rustam Suryadov and writer Andrew Demyanenko). There was a performance of a young piano player Vera Chudinova, Viktoria Korotysheva sang to the accompaniment by Tatiana Borisova. Among our guests was the Children’s Academy of Cinema and Theatre headed by Anna Zorinova. Denis Suyundukov, a guest from Ukraine, recited the Anthem of Novorossia,by Natalia Kulakova, a resident of Prince.

The Centre housed an exhibition of military shoulder boards and posters of Soviet period. During the masterclass The Tree of Friendship both children and adults wrote their wishes on paper leaves and flowers and glued them upon a poster of a tree, the Symbol of the friendship and Unity of our People. Theatre, music, literature, sport and technology intertwined and mingled into a charge of energy for our big and United Family. I thank the administrators and the anchors of the celebration – the executive director of the Centre Alla Smirnova, the resident of the house and director  Aleandra Berezovskaya, the engine of the Centre – collector, keeper and director of the museum Alexander Nevske Andrey Andriyenko. The celebration was  a success!
