Cruiser Aurora starts a new life
Last Sunday one could observe cruiser Aurora advancing downstream the Neva. The cruiser was moored at the Petrograd embankment in 1948 and became one of legendary symbols of the city, a museum-ship and a branch of the Central Naval Museum.
Although it had undergone restorations since then, it still requires serious large-scale work at the moment. Restoration of Aurora will be carried out by the Kronshtadt Shipbuilding Yard. The symbols of the Hero-city are truly worthy of eternal life!
